Art To The Rescue Soiree
Hosted by:
Manny Rodriguez Photography
100 Parkhouse St., Dallas, Texas, 75207
Saturday May 17, 2008 6pm-10pm
The 3rd annual Art to the Rescue Soiree.
featuring music, food, cocktails and a silent auction of contemporary art, jewelry, wine, gift certificates and much more.
All proceeds benefit Animal Rescue of Texas (ART).
ART is an all volunteer, non-profit rescue organization founded by a group of business professionals wanting to make a difference in the lives of homeless companion animals in North Texas. ART's mission is to save the lives of animals that may otherwise perish in city shelters, find the best fit for the animals in our care and their potential forever homes, and educate the community on the humane treatment of companion animals and responsible pet ownership (see how it works on the back).
Partnering with the art community is part of ART's original vision and their ongoing support of ART to the Rescue has been essential to its continued success. We are privileged this year to have our event hosted by Manny Rodriguez Photography at his beautiful15,000 square foot studio near downtown Dallas
Since incorporation in July 2005, ART has rescued over 200 animals at a cost of over $53,000. This includes the cost to rescue, rehabilitate, conduct initial health screenings, and in many cases provide extensive surgical procedures, x-rays, blood work or other medical care. As of December 2007, we have seventeen wonderful animals waiting for their forever homes in foster care.
Your generous donations are vital to the success of our event! Although sponsorships and underwriting money are our biggest needs, our silent auction is also a big part of this event. In addition to financial donations, we need artwork, services, gift certificates, hotel stays, spa treatments, event tickets, pet friendly products and/or any other support you can contribute to help us reach our goal. Please peruse the attached sponsorship opportunities, each of which include recognition at our event, and let us know how you would like to help!
On behalf of the homeless animals we serve, thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to seeing you on May 17th!
My note: I will submit art into this event, and you guys reading should too!
